Anne is a native Californian who lives with her husband. She has two adult children. A librarian by education and experience, she has always loved stories. It is often after hearing some snippet, odd incident, or news report that becomes the foundation for a whole novel.

She fell in love with Jane Austen the first time she read Pride and Prejudice but enjoys other historical romances. While she grew up reading comic books, her kids introduced her to Manga, and its often fluffy romance.

The settings for her Pride and Prejudice variation novels have been in both Regency and Modern periods. Her strongest setting is the one most familiar to those who share a love of that story—the Regency era with the manners, prejudices, and limitations that add such delightful seasoning.
